Obama to Mac: clean up your act

Barack Obama is “talking down to black people” again. This time the target of his condescension is comedian Bernie Mac, who got schooled by Barack for making the following joke at an Obama fundraiser:
The Chicago-born comedian and actor told what he said was a joke about his nephew coming to him and asking the difference between a hypothetical question and a realistic question.

To demonstrate the difference, he tells the nephew to go ask his mother if she would make love to the mailman for $50,000. The mother says she would make love to the mailman and anybody else for $50,000.

He tells the nephew to go ask his sister if she would make love with her neighbor for $50,000. She says she would make love with the neighbor and anybody else for $50,000.

So he tells the nephew: “Hypothetically speaking, we should have $100,000. But realistically speaking we live with two hos,” Bernie Mac said.
As is so often the case, this unfortunate situation could have been avoided by deploying Sinbad. Not only is Sinbad “off-the-wall...free as the wind, an unpredictable force that can't be harnessed”, his comedy is rated DG, or “Very clean. Suitable for family or conservative groups. No strong language and little or no sexual dialogue or situations.”

I wonder, is Obama habitually careless about who he associates with? Or does he have some sort of grudge against Sinbad? Or both?

  1. The Obama-sattva's campaign bus is beginning to resemble the Juggernaut with the number of devotees throwing themselves (or being pushed) under its wheels.

  2. "Obama-sattva" - I like it.

Mac's joke was actually funny. If Obama had come out and told his crowd to lighten up he would have had my much sought after endorsement.

  3. I'm pleased to see Sinbad's return to Craptocracy, but I'm sorry it's under such bitter circumstances. It's painful to see him treated this way. And after he helped Obama out by exposing Hillary's Bosnia lies! This Obama character has no loyalty at all.

  4. Well said, Garland.

Are there any comedians supporting McCain? Because it's easy to imagine McCain saying "My friends, prop comedy is funny as all get out."

  5. Here is a list of celebrities who have contributed to the John McCain campaign (according to the FEC):

Wilford Brimley, Dick Van Patten, Rip Torn, Britney Spears, Drew Carey, Bo Derek, Tom Selleck, Shirley Temple Black, Clint Eastwood, Ben Stein, Kim Alexis, Scott Baio, Adam Baldwin, Robert Conrad, Alice Cooper, Shannen Doherty, Robert Duvall, Jamie Farr, Kelsey Grammer, Dean Jones, Jimmy Dean, Shirley Jones, Don King, Heather Locklear, Chuck Norris, Freddie Prinze Jr., Mickey Rooney, Jessica Simpson, Grace Slick, Tony Danza, Kurt Russell, Pat Sajak, Stephen Baldwin, Rick Schroder, Hilary Duff, Cheryl Ladd, Marilyn Manson, Marie Osmond and Bruce Willis.

I am not sure which ones qualify as comedians these days, although Chuck Norris' acting is so bad, he always makes me laugh. But the Marilyn Manson and Marie Osmond endorsements confirm what I've suspected: SATAN is on Team McCain.

  6. I'm not sure why, but I can't resist responding to the celebrities list.

Wilford Brimley: did you know he is a gay? Him and Grandpa Walton. Think about that the next time you are spooning up some Quaker Oat Bran.

Rip Torn: Besides playing the best character on the Larry Sanders Show, he once hit Norman Mailer with a hammer. A great American.

Bo Derek: I met Bo Derek in a bar once. She's really nice, and a horse racing afficando.

Tom Selleck: (As Magnum PI) He wears tiny shorts, he has a moustache, he hangs out with a prissy Englishman who also has a moustache and wears a jumpsuit, but he's not gay. Which is awesome. I stole that from Dave Attell.

Shirley Temple Black: She's not dead?

    Jamie Farr: He's not dead?

Dean Jones: As a kid I loved Herbie and the Love Bug, even though I didn't understand it. Are you sure he's not dead?

Jimmy Dean: I love sausages. I think he's dead though. Seriously.

Mickey Rooney: He must be dead. Isn't he? I swear I can remember him dying.

Tony Danza: I wish he was dead.

    Kurt Russell: No human compassion!

  7. I see that some of Obamma-sattva's assassins have done their work on Bernie Mac for tarnishing his name:

  8. Tragic. Maybe Obama's setting him up and then slapping him down was a contributing factor. Has McCain ever done anything that's lead to someones death (exlcuding Charlie)?

  9. At parent-teacher night, Sinbad always wore a white satin track suit that matched his white Escalade. He's covered with wholesome tattoos, such as a beautifully rendered picture of an alpha male wolf and alpha female wolf nuzzling devotedly under a Yukon moon.

  10. Wolves under a moon? Wow. Sinbad has just lost all his street credibility.
